Climate Impacts Families

Washington families are joining the climate movement because we understand that protecting our children from the ravages of air pollution and climate change caused by burning oil, gas and coal is our greatest, most urgent moral calling.

The unrivaled quality of life we enjoy in the Pacific Northwest is why so many families call Washington home. Now, we’re standing up alongside the Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy for our children’s right to clean air, a stable economy and a healthy natural environment.

More than 120,000 children in Washington State have asthma — that’s higher than the national average.
